New Release V. 71 - February 28

We're excited to share the latest updates and enhancements to our platform. Our dedicated team has been hard at work implementing feedback and making improvements to ensure our service remains at the forefront of your needs. Here’s what’s new:

New Features & Enhancements New Feature improvement 

  • Document Title Accuracy: Updated the document title to match the template, ensuring consistency across our platform.
  • Sent By Field Update: Corrected the name in the 'Sent By' field for better clarity and accuracy.
  • Fire Alarm Monitoring Option: Added a 'Not Applicable (N/A)' option to the fire alarm monitoring query to accommodate more scenarios.
  • Email Template Improvement: Updated deficiency resolution email templates for enhanced clarity.
  • Inspection Report Enhancements:
    • Added 'Fire Station #' and 'Building #' columns to the Inspection Report screen as requested by AHJs.
    • Added timestamp functionality that calculates time spent on the report for better tracking and understanding of time spent on report
  • Menu Optimization: Moved AHJ Section to the bottom of the Menu section for improved navigation.
  • Locking Headers: Implemented locking for all headers in the 'My AHJ' section to prevent accidental adjustments.
  • Image Editing for Inspection Companies: Enabled Inspection Companies to edit or replace logos directly in the edit screen.
  • User Interface and Experience Improvements:
    • Adjusted the Order Details page to account for deleted (archived) reports, enhancing data integrity.
    • Revised verbiage on the Inspection Report Page for clearer communication. 
    • Enabled multi-select and archive functionality for reports, streamlining the management process.
    • Resolved an issue with hover messages in tables to ensure the correct information is displayed.
    • Updated the profile edit page to allow users to change their profile picture easily.
  • Map View Filters: Fixed an issue with filters on the map view not working when more than one is selected, improving usability.

New Release v. 70 - February 6

We are excited to announce the latest updates and improvements to our system. Our development team has been hard at work addressing issues, implementing new features, and enhancing our platform's functionality to serve you better. Here’s what’s new:

New Features & EnhancementsNew Feature 

  • Premise Voiceover Navigation: Enhanced navigation through voiceover support, making it easier for users to interact with our platform. 
  • Premise Table Content Wrapping: Improved table content wrapping in the beta version for a more organized display. 
  • Distinguishable Inspection Report Links: Inspection report links are now more distinguishable, ensuring clarity and ease of access. 
  • New Design Adjustments: Several design improvements have been made across the platform for a more intuitive user experience.

Bug Fixes & Backend Improvements fix 

  • Order Print Date Issue: Addressed and hotfixed a bug affecting the date display in order prints.
  • Re-Inspection Scheduling Bug: Corrected the schedule re-inspection bug with a hotfix for smoother customer operations.

Customer-Centric Updates improvement 

  • Drag and Drop for Image Uploads: Implemented drag-and-drop functionality for all image uploads, improving the user interface.
  • Inspection Company User Type Bug: Fixed a bug related to inspection company user type, ensuring accurate information display.
  • AHJ Internal Role Viewing Permissions: Adjusted permissions allowing AHJ Internal Role to not have a view external system types when filling a report. They will only see Internal System Types
  • Self-Resolve Process Improvement: Updated the self-resolve process to redirect customers to a thank-you landing page, enhancing user satisfaction.

New Additions New Feature 

  • Square Footage Field for Premises: Added a new field to capture square footage information for premises, aiding in detailed record-keeping.
  • New Contact Types: Introduced new contact types to enhance user interaction and data categorization.

New Feature - My AHJ Section Update ๐Ÿ™Œ

All, 

We are excited to launch a major overhaul of the My AHJ Section. Adding an AHJ to your platform Is now much easier, and you can sort by State and view all available Jurisdictions currently using LIV.

New Release LIV - v.69

Hey LIV Family!

We have a new release to announce: 

  1. NEW AHJ FEATURE- You can now select certain deficiencies you want to be included on the deficiency resolution notice. When sending a resolution notice you will have a selection feature to add and communicate on which deficiencies you are wanting to send a notice on. 

  1. NEW AHJ FEATURE- Premise labels can now be created and added when you are creating a new premise.
  2. NEW INSPECTION COMPANY FEATURE-   Inspection Company users now have a new field under their profiles titled 'Certification ID', where you can store your Certification ID for AHJ's to view. 
  3. CREDIT CARD UPDATE - If the Credit Card you have on file is expired, the system will lock the ability to upload reports. Please make sure your Credit Card information is accurate and up to date. We now have a notice that will be sent prior to your card expiration to allow you to update your credit card on file.

New Release - V.68

Hey LIV Family!

We hope you're enjoying your fresh start into the new year. We have a new release to announce: 

  1. New Feature  You can now add images and include the actual inspection report on the deficiency notice! This is for our AHJ users who utilize our internal reporting tool, but is available for External Deficiency Notice as well. When you send the notice, it will prompt you to select
  2. fix  Some filter, note viewing, and other small bugs have been fixed.

New Release v.67

Hey LIV Family!

We hope you're enjoying your Holiday. We have a new release for the end of the year. 

  1. improvement AHJ's, we have added the ability to add multiple Knoxbox locations to a premise. This is a multi-select option. 
  2. improvement For Inspection Companies, we have made the ability to filter directly off System Type available, without having to select the AHJ first. 
  3. New Feature You can now download/print the Price List per AHJ
  4. New Feature You can now add a Financial Contact Email on your Inspection Company Profile. If listed, all Order and Invoice emails will be sent to the Financial Email.
  5. fix We've fixed the ability to download the Order details information. 
  6. fix We've fixed the ability to edit the originally attached inspection report. When you edit you can now clear out the original document uploaded, and upload the new report which will then be set to pending and sent to the AHJ for review. 

We've added a few other enhancements, minor bug fixes and a few verbiage changes to the application.

Credit Card required on File to Fill Reports

Are you ready to take your inspections and reports to the next level? We recently launched an improvement that allows you to securely store a credit card on file with LIV to quickly and easily fill out reports.

This new feature was created with convenience in mind. Now, when you need to fill out reports, you won't have to worry about entering your payment information or process manually via invoice. Your credit card will already be securely stored in your LIV profile, and processed weekly for all reports submitted.

We understand that safety and security are paramount when it comes to your personal information. That's why we use the latest encryption technology and are GDPR-compliant, protecting your information and ensuring that it remains safe and secure.

We hope that this new feature will make your reporting and inspections much easier and more efficient. If you have any questions or feedback, please let us know. We're always looking for ways to improve, and your input is invaluable.

New Release: v.66

Hello LIV Family, 

We have an exciting release to bring you with several enhancements and requests

  1. improvement Deficiency status changed from "Accept" to "Accepted to be congruent with the rest of the system
  2. New Feature You can now print the price list for any selected AHJ
  3. New Feature Inspection Companies will now have the ability to edit and delete a report in the event an error is made. This will be possible until a payment has been received for the report at which time you may not delete a report. 
  4. improvement We have added two additional statuses to deficiency follow-ups. You can now choose "In Progress" and "Deferred"
  5. improvement Order Details download is now consistent with Order Print View. You can go to the Order and see your latest reports, and payments per invoice and download the details to a file of your choice
  6. New Feature We have a new process that will allow Internal Inspections for AHJs the ability to send a self-resolve link via email to the premise owner and allow them to resolve deficiencies on their own. They will require images and comments to update the status of the deficiency. Please see the other announcement for details on this. 
  7. announcement Credit Cards for any inspection company will be required to fill a report for a Fire Marshall/Jurisdiction. Please see the other announcement for details regarding this change.

New Deficiency Self Resolve Process for Internal Reports

Hello AHJ's!

We’re excited to announce the newest addition to our LIV Inspection Platform: Deficiency Self Resolve for Internal Inspection Reports.

This new feature allows users to quickly and easily resolve any deficiencies in their inspection reports via email. With Deficiency Self Resolve, Premise Contacts/Owners can now quickly review any deficiencies and make corrections to resolve the deficiency in a matter of moments.

When a Deficiency is found on an inspection report, when the Deficiency Notice is sent to the Customer, they will have a button on the email that will allow them to click on which will take them to the LIV Portal. From there, they will be able to add any notes and images to the resolution and mark as resolved. This will notify you as the AHJ that the deficiency has been resolved by the Premise company and will make it so you do not have to go out and re-verify the resolution. 

This new feature makes it easier than ever to ensure the accuracy and completeness of your inspection reports. It also saves users time and effort, meaning that you can spend less time worrying about deficiencies and more time doing what you do best.

๐ŸŽ‰ New AHJ - Sitka Fire Department ๐ŸŽ‰

Dear LIV Users,

Effective 1/1/2024, the Sitka Fire Department will go live with LIV. Beginning this date, you will be required to upload your inspection reports in this area to LIV. 

To make sure you have access to this department's premises, make sure you add the AHJ to your account by following this guide: https://support.livsafe.com/portal/en/kb/articles/how-20-10-2023.
