🔥 New Feature: Fire Watch & Notifications
We’re excited to introduce a new Fire Watch feature inside the Premise Details view, giving AHJs and inspection teams more visibility and control when a building requires fire watch status.
🚨 What’s New:
🟢 Fire Watch Toggle
You can now mark a premise as on Fire Watch directly within the Premise Details page.
📩 Contact Notifications
When turned on, you’ll be prompted to select which premise contacts should be notified. They’ll receive an alert informing them the building has been placed on Fire Watch with your preferred verbiage and process.
📋 Coming Soon:
We're working on integrating a Fire Watch Form submission process, allowing field teams or contacts to submit Fire Watch documentation through an external form directly. For now, we have the ability to create a public form and place your Fire Watch Form as an external link in the email notifications.
💡 Why This Matters
Placing a building on Fire Watch is a critical step when fire protection systems are impaired. With this new feature, you can:
- Track Fire Watch status directly in LIV
- Notify stakeholders immediately
- Document key decisions in real time
- Stay compliant with NFPA and local fire code standards
